On Tuesday afternoon, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:NYX) underwent a server outage that stopped delivering trade data for numerous stocks for about an hour, reported Dow Jones. ?

Just last Thursday there was a similar outage that impacted Nasdaq-listed stocks. The disruption affected reporting to the consolidated tape, which encompasses securities transactions across the U.S. exchanges.?

This latest episode at NYSE began at?2:10 p.m. EST on Tuesday as the exchange started “experiencing an issue publishing trade and quote information” for stocks with the symbols from SJ to TCZ, according to an exchange customer notice. SunTrust Banks Inc. (?STI?), State Street Corp. (?STT?) and St. June Medical Inc. (?STJ?) were just a few of the affected stocks.

According to a NYSE spokesman, Tuesday’s disruption came from a?server?failure and impaired 165 stock symbols for their trade reporting and quotes.?

The exchange was back to business as usual by 3:05 p.m. EST.
