This is an update from the the post "BP Plc (BP) – Is Reckoning Day Upon Us?"In that post, I noted that BP had hit its 52 week low of $29 and was hovering just above it. I felt like that day was "line in the sand" day, and if it broke the low, it could mean some downward momentum in the stock. Friday, it seemed that in fact BP has broken out lower.

Noble Corporation (Noble) is an offshore drilling contractor for the oil and gas industry. To fully understand this stock, you have to read the drilling moratorium news/rumors.The company traded over 31,000 options in the first two hours of trading on total daily average option volume of just 7,628. Calls traded on a 13:1 ratio to puts. The largest trades were in the July 30 calls where nearly 23,000 traded (predominantly purchases).
