For options traders interested in expanding their education, there’s two great opportunities to do so in May.?
On Thursday, the Options Industry Council announced its upcoming May 11?Investor Education Day (IED) in Schaumburg, IL.?
This represents the second of five events this year nationwide for OIC. This popular, free?all-day options education program will be led by instructors from the various options exchanges and OIC professionals. Investors will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and ability to responsibly trade options.
Two different tracks will be offered for attendees and this will be based on investment experience and skill level. Offerings include either Options Basics or Advanced Strategies. Options Basics will examine fundamentals including basic strategies and the risks and rewards of using options; Advanced Strategies will emphasize more complicated concepts such as butterflies, condors and the Greeks.
