Implied Volatility Mover
Implied volatility in options on Pandora (P) is moving higher amid relatively active trading in the options on the Internet radio company. The stock isn’t doing much, down 3 cents to $13.17 on light volume of 1.2 million shares. Meanwhile, 3,490 calls and 4,970 puts traded on Pandora, which is double the typical volume for midday action, according to Trade Alert data. May 12 puts and May 14 calls are seeing the bulk of the activity and 30-day implied volatility in the options on Pandora is moving up 17.5 percent to 60, but with no news on the stock to explain the heightened activity Monday morning.

Coach (COH) options volume is running 3X the (22-day) average, with 27,000 contracts traded and put volume accounting for 80 percent of the volume.

DuPont (DD) options volume is 2.5X, the average daily, with 22,000 contracts traded and call option volume representing 79 percent of the activity.

KB Homes (KBH) options volume is running 2X the average daily, with 13,000 contracts traded and call volume accounting 88 percent of the activity.

Increasing options activity is also being seen in Talisman Energy (TLM), WR Grace (GRA), and Skyworks Solutions (SWKS).
