On Tuesday,?the Options Industry Council (OIC) announced its next event in its university outreach program, The Road to Wall Street: Analyze Your Options, will take place at Chicago’s Stuart School of Business at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) on Friday, November 2.
Attendees will include college students and faculty from IIT as well as the Chicagoland area.?
Introduced in 2010, OIC?s Road to Wall Street program partners with a university to educate students about options and careers within the options industry. The informative half-day events have been created for students with faculty that includes successful?exchange leaders, options traders, technology experts and other industry professionals.
Topics include experiences from the field, how the listed options markets work, where the industry is headed, and how to get started in the options business.
For the event, registration will open at 8:15 a.m. with a program start time of 9:00 a.m. with opening remarks. Michael Cahill, President and COO of OCC, will present?”Experiences from the Field,” followed by?panel discussion on how the listed options markets work.
In the program’s second half, there’s a panel discussion, “Getting Started in the Options Business” and then “Experiences from the Field” featuring?OptionsCity CEO Hazem Dawani.
This will conclude the event.?
All college students currently enrolled in either a two- or four-year undergraduate or graduate degree program are welcome to attend the Road to Wall Street events.?
